Composure Under Pressure Soccer Academy (CUPSA) is a community-based soccer program founded in 2019 to serve the youth of Kankakee County and surrounding areas. With over 100 players and a commitment to financial inclusivity, CUPSA provides year-round development opportunities that emphasize character, skill, and resilience on and off the field.
Mission
At Composure Under Pressure Soccer Academy (CUPSA), our mission is to empower youth through the game of soccer by fostering skill, discipline, and resilience. We are committed to providing high-quality, inclusive training that develops confident athletes and strong community leaders—ensuring every player has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of financial circumstances. In addition, we aim to teach, guide, and mentor aspiring coaches, equipping them with the knowledge, leadership skills, and values needed to positively impact players and the broader soccer community.
Vision
Our vision is to build a thriving soccer community where every player and aspiring coach has the opportunity to grow, compete, and lead with composure under pressure. We strive to provide affordable, high-quality player and coach development while creating meaningful pathways for players to become college-ready and prepared for success beyond the game. At the same time, we are committed to mentoring aspiring coaches, helping them find their voice, develop their leadership, and make a lasting impact on the next generation of athletes. Through soccer, we aim to strengthen our communities and create opportunities that extend far beyond the field.
